Basic is done. took forever too. had to do something called warrior fitness. it was hell for 3 months. followed by 3 months more hell for basic. now I'm waiting for my trades training. which sucks, cause my family isn't with me. I've got a memo in to move them....but it's taking time.
living on base wouldn't be so bad, if my wife and kids were here.
next step is SQ, which looks to be no fun. shoulda taken naval or airforce, I don't really much care for the field.
